Performance for local MP by England Dance World Cup Team

Over half term, the England Dance World Cup Team, trained by Katie Cox Dance Studio, gave a special performance to East Surrey MP Claire Coutinho in the Humphreys Theatre.

The group of eight girls performed ballet, contemporary and lyrical pieces, and spent time talking through the tough journey to selection, preparations for the competition in Spain in July 2025 and their fundraising efforts.  To reach selection, they had competed against thousands of other entries and achieved a qualifying score that put them fourth in the country.  Zoe T (Upper Sixth) is a proud member of the team and has trained with KCDS since aged 6.  We wish them all the very best for the World Cup in Spain this summer.
