Rain & Record Collections from the Rotary Club!

A huge thank you to the pupils and staff who were involved in collecting with Caterham Rotary at Christmas over six nights. The first Tuesday was vile with rain and a strong breeze, and we were glad to end up at Sainsbury’s Warlingham and a warm minibus, having collected a shade under £550. Wednesday was a little rainy, but produced the largest sum ever collected by Caterham Rotary, over £1,140. Then Thursday evening was dry but chilly, but produced another handsome amount, £1,099 so that the total for that week stood at just under £2,300. In the final three (mostly) dry evenings £683, £750 and £526 was collected by the intrepid and keen crew.

The final total rounded down was £4,746 which goes to Rotary Club of Caterham; Surrey Young Carers – Caterham School’s charity for 2025-26; Their Voice; and The Westway Centre. Once again, thank you and well done to the 61 pupils and numerous staff involved.
