Record Entries for Annual Scholarship Prize
An unprecedented) 112 First to Fourth Years voluntarily tookpart in the annual Scholarship Prize paper – a competition exam like no other! Mere weeks after their end-of-year exams, these pupils elected to sit yet another paper, one not set on any specific syllabus but one that pushes the intellectually curious and academically avaricious. Tackling questions on everything from mathematical logic and graph theory to interpretations of history and analysing the works of Holbein and the art of the Mughal Empire, the atmosphere in the Wilberforce Hall was heavy with intellectual fervour – you could almost hear the cogs whirring! We look forward to announcing the winners next week during year assemblies.
Well done to everyone who volunteered to take part.
