Saving Endangered Instruments

The Music Department is delighted to be able to offer a limited number of starter lessons for First Year pupils, on some of our ‘endangered’ instruments: bassoon, tuba, and double bass. We have fantastic expert visiting music teachers for these instruments and are looking to increase the number of pupils that play them. Playing a musical instrument opens many exciting opportunities at Caterham School, with pupils taking part in a variety of ensembles and performing concerts in professional music venues.

If you would like your child to take advantage of these spaces, further details can be obtained from Dr Chris Brammeld, Head of Instrumental Music: [email protected]
