Theatre in Education Perform

This year’s Theatre in Education group of Year 9 pupils had their first live performance experience on Wednesday when they performed extracts from three classic children’s books, ‘Jack and the Flumflum Tree’, ‘The Highway Rat’ and ‘Keith the Cat and the Magic hat.’ With an abundance of energy and audience interaction, Year 3 were thoroughly engaged and entertained and gave the Year 9 pupils a very enthusiastic reception! In the summer term, the TIE group will tour a different educational piece to local primary schools and perform it at the wonderful Orchard Theatre Festival at the end of June.
