Thought Provoking Sunday Boarders Service
At the end of Coronation week, Mr Wood led a thought-provoking and entertaining Sunday service for the boarders with a focus on traditional British values. In particular he spoke to the boarders on the subject of individual freedom and the vital part that dissent and popular protest have played in the development of modern Britain.
Over the past year boarders’ services have been led by a range of senior staff both from within boarding and from the wider school. The purpose of the services is to encourage the boarding community to take time from their busy academic and co-curricular schedules to reflect and engage with ethical and spiritual questions.
