Westminster Horizons Essay Competition.
Well done to Annie L (Fourth Year) for her “Commended” submission to a national essay competition.
The Westminster Horizons Competition asked entrants from the Third – Fifth Years to choose from four questions and submit a formal essay of 1,500 words in response. Annie elected to tackle “‘Science alone cannot solve the climate crisis -Discuss.” with a splendid and original piece of writing. The judges commented that the overall standard was “extremely high”, yet Annie, competing in many cases against older pupils, was listed among a small handful of entrants nationwide to receive particular commendation. Well done, Annie!
