Wonderful Start to the Week
Our regular, informal Twilight Concert series continued with pupils across First to Fifth Year performing a variety of interesting and diverse repertoire. These after school concerts are unintimidating and friendly allowing pupils who need to develop confidence to shine. A delightful mix of folk song and early Baroque through to songs from the musicals entertained a small audience of parents with some highlights including Lucy B’s Flute Sonata by Bach, Izzy N’s ‘The Jones Boys’ and Ava W’s ‘Naughty’ from Matilda, the musical. We were uplifted by Ethan T’s fantastic and triumphant ‘Polka’ on the trumpet. Well done to all performers and we look forward to the next instalment of Twilight Concerts.
