Business Pupils Enter the Dragons’ Den
Our Lower Sixth business pupils were set the task of ‘improving school experience for pupils’. They had to come up with an original business idea to present to a panel of dragons in search of their investment. The judges were blown away by the quality of the presentations and originality of the ideas. The judges were tempted to ‘get ahead’, a brand new app that can aid pupils in settling into school life. They were keen to try the healthy smoothie Blendz to improve diet in adolescents and would be well equipped to navigate school life thanks to ‘Renovare’s’ innovative new school bag design. However it was the winning team ‘StuAds’ who have won the opportunity to take their idea on to an exclusive meeting with the Headmaster. Their app focuses on advertising part-time work & apprenticeships exclusively for teenagers; a great business model that was well researched and delivered with aplomb. Well done to all involved!
