History Prizes Won

Every half-term, our History Department is delighted to award the CLIO History Prize to a pupil who shows particular promise, aptitude, endeavour, and enthusiasm for the subject and is thus considered deserving of recognition. The prize is split three ways to recognise the talents of a senior, middle, and junior school historian, with all three receiving a certificate, chocolate, and a book of their choosing. Congratulations to our winners this half-term:

Senior Prize: Nico W – who chose The Road to Unfreedom, by Timothy Snyder

Middle Prize: Leeane B – who chose Ashes of London, by Andrew Taylor

Junior Prize: Jessica C – who chose What If? Military Historians Imagine What Might Have Been…’ by Robert Cowley

The winners were presented with their prizes by Mr. Hosking, Head of History
