MJS Guardian of the Genome

MJS Guardian of the Genome

Alex R, President of the Moncrieff Jones Society launched the spring season of talks with a first in so many ways.   This is the first season completed entirely online via Teams and Jason C’s talk, delivered at 1.00am from Hong Kong, was a stunning in depth look at a key gene in tumour suppression.    Mr Quinton said that he was very proud of Alex R and vice-president Max F in organising the series of talks during these difficult times and making them happen in front of an audience of over 50 pupils from all over the world. In addition, we were very proud to welcome pupils from Oxted School, one of our partner schools – something we are very keen to build on in the future, expanding the reach of MJS.   The next talk takes place on Tuesday 2 February at 4.15pm when Michael W will be talking about DMARDs and Cancer.
