Philosophy of Finance
This week we were delighted to welcome Paul Dixon to school to explore ‘The Philosophy of Finance’. Bringing a wealth of experience and boundless academic curiosity, pupils and staff alike were treated to a fascinating talk that posed many thought-provoking questions of this gigantic industry. What is money? How effective are the differing theories of money? Do we do enough to account for the moral and ethical issues? Can we trust institutions today? Thanks to the many who attended and an especially big thank you to Paul!
