Understanding Genre
During the last lockdown, Third Year Drama pupils turned their hands to film making, exploring a variety of conventions and genres from across the medium. To end the project, after creating some fantastic short sequences and trailers, we held a competition to see how well the pupils’ understanding of genre could translate into the creation of film posters. We picked the ten best entries which fully embraced their chosen genre and put it to a vote to the rest of the year group.
The winning entry with the most peer votes was Ed (3E) Congratulations Ed- you’ve won yourself a £10 Amazon Gift Voucher.
