OC Joe Long Visits Business Studies
This week, Business pupils in the Sixth Form were treated to an inspiring talk given by OC Joe Long from Crystal Palace Football Club. Joe gave us a peek behind the scenes as he told us more about how a football club is run and financed. The captivated audience learnt about different revenue streams in football, including how premium experiences work and are priced. They also were able to learn more about the staff that exist at the club beyond just the players, highlighting just how big the team is behind this football club’s success. It was an enthralling talk that left the pupils with a hunger to hear more. As an Old Cat who had sat in their very seat studying Business in the not too distant past, pupils were able to relate to Joe and really valued his advice as they look towards their next steps beyond Caterham.
