Arts Hack Club
The Lower School pupils who are members of the Art Hacks weekly club on Monday lunchtimes have been recently working on learning how to etch. They started by drawing insects from observation using our collection of preserved insects and crustaceans. They then scratched their drawing into an etching plate which they printed in black ink learning all the processes involved. Finally they have been tinting their etching prints with watercolour paint.
The club is open to new members and is running for the whole of the Spring Term.
