BA Flying Start Campaign
On Monday, three pupils from the Charity Committee will handover almost 20kg of foreign coins and banknotes at British Airways HQ, as donations to their British Airways Flying Start campaign. Usually they collect this in little envelopes on board every BA flight but we needed to use buckets!
The money was collected in houses, with Underwood House collecting an amazing 6kg of the total (this doesn’t even include all their banknotes!). Hopefully, we will get a house-by-house breakdown from British Airways Comic Relief or failing that a total for all the houses. Well done everyone and we’ll update you as soon as we can on a final cash total.
