Café Chic for Les Petit Filous
First and Second Years enjoyed a true moment of relaxation “à la française” spending time in our improvised, very “chic” Café, aka Leathem room. Les Petits Filous were very lucky to have two “improvised French waitresses”, Ayla G.M and Breya M.S, Fifth Year French pupils, who did a superb job getting the juniors to practise their French, placing a food order, greetings and telling the time, all in French, bien sûr! The “customers” enjoyed their food and drinks. Embracing this true cultural moment, some even tried to eat their croissant or pain au chocolat the French way: by dipping it in their hot chocolate! Everyone had a great time catching up with friends, a drink, a snack and some background soft music (thank you Ben J.W). No “pourboir ” for our waitresses but a heartfelt “merci” for this truly enjoyable and enriching French Junior Club! Bravo!
