Caterham Pupils on the International Lacrosse Stage

It was a busy summer for the nine Caterham pupils who are currently competing at International Lacrosse level. Various tournaments, tours and training sessions took place over the holidays which saw our players travel to places like Ireland, Scotland, USA, Poland, Wales and some more local England based sessions.

Particular highlights from the summer holidays were Georgia Tuckett’s selection to the England Lacrosse USA touring squad, who attended a camp and competed in a tournament whilst in the USA.

Roberta Lack has recently progressed in her journey to the U19 Lacrosse World Championship being named to the top U19 National Wales Squad. Old Cats Holly Mead and Kaityln Galvin also continue to represent the U19 Wales National team. They are also fighting to also be named to the top 18 who will represent Wales at the World Championships in Canada next summer.

Issy Oliver and Georgie Young have continued to represent the Wales Dragon Academy where they have played numerous USA touring teams. They have gained  a lot of expreince playing tough competition which will definitiely transfer over to their school lacrosse.

The future is bright for our newest pupils who were selected to their respective countries development teams. Mina Darwin will be representing Scotland where she will join LaxCats Lottie McDonald and Pippa Lloyd while Nell Jones and Imogen Lack have been selected to the Wales Dragon Academy where they will join Roberta Lack and Old Cats Holly Mead and Kaitlyn Galvin.
