Contemporary artist David Pollot says thanks
Our Third Year artists received a lovely surprise in the post last week when their A3 artwork was printed out on a high quality digital printer for them and sent to them as a poster to frame.
Their artworks were responding to juxtaposition of place and inspired by the contemporary artist David Pollot. Mrs Veldtman contacted the artist and he made time to record a personal message to them from his home in the US which was a massive encouragement.

The artworks were produced on the Sketchbook app on the iPpad and were a playful burst in a historical painted landscape. The pupils were most inventive in how they introduced more modern or unexpected elements into that scene.
