East Surrey Learning Partnership Podcasts
Miss Angeli and Miss Hookway have been busy producing a podcast for use in our Primary partner schools. The podcast is aimed at developing higher order skills around the analysis and discussion of narrative, using popular children’s novels. There have been weekly instalments and discussion, responding to observations and questions from the pupils. The podcast is, of course, isolation and lockdown proof allowing pupils to engage with the sessions on a weekly basis. The first three episodes have been piloted at Furzefield Primary School in Merstham, and their Key Stage 2 team have provided us with useful feedback to improve the resource. This initiative will be a useful component of developing cooperation and mutual development with local schools in the East Surrey Learning partnership – especially in these challenging times.
