Generous Community Supports Giving Day
Thank you for making Caterham School’s first Giving Day such a success! We hope that you were able to enjoy Giving Day as much as we did! It was fantastic to see so many people get involved and it is a testament to the generosity of our school community that 307 donors came together to collectively raise £41,438 for our three causes. We are very grateful to our 50 volunteers who signed up to help replant our woods too!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Parents’ Association for running the Cats on the Move: Race to Tanzania and for supporting the Giving Day Challenge Fund. We are glad to say that we raised enough money for two years’ worth of school lunches for our long-standing Lerang’wa primary school, and the Resource Library for children in the East Surrey Partnership can now go ahead.
