Half Termly CLIO History Prizes

Half Termly CLIO History Prizes

Every half-term, the History Department is delighted to award the CLIO History Prize to three pupils who show particular promise, aptitude, endeavour, and enthusiasm for the subject and are thus considered deserving of recognition. The prize is split three ways to recognise the talents of a senior, middle, and junior school historian, with all receiving a certificate, chocolate, and, most importantly, a book of their choosing. Congratulations to our winners from last half-term:

Senior Prize: Kian M, who chose Powers and Thrones: A New History of the Middle Ages, by Dan Jones

Middle Prize: Darren L, who chose Colonialism: A Moral Reckoning, by Nigel Biggar

Junior Prize: Yolanda C, who chose The Time Traveller’s Guide to Medieval England, by Ian Mortimer.
