Independent Schools’ Ski Championships
Once again during the Christmas break, Caterham sent a team to the Independent Schools’ Ski Championships held in Les Deux Alpes, France. The trip began with three days of ski coaching with pupils skiing fresh powder and learning to ski gates. The first event was the giant slalom and the pupils gave a good account of themselves on a challenging course competing with over 300 pupils. On the final day, Alice (Second Year) built on the success of previous years and won a silver medal in the Slalom. This trip provides a unique opportunity to ski in a competitive arena, but in a relaxed and friendly environment.
