Laptops for Lockdown
Your surplus laptops and tablets are needed!
The current crisis is having a real impact on the life chances of many young people in the community who are not able to access technology at home.
We have all learned a lot about the power of tech in education over recent weeks – access to technology is currently and will continue to be vital for children to access educational opportunity in the future.
We would like to ask you to support our commitment to support young people in the local area by recycling devices that you no longer use and distributing them to young people in our community who need them the most, via local primary schools.
If you have replaced any such devices and can spare the old one, please clear the memory, log out of accounts and if possible carry out a ‘factory reset’ – pop it in a carrier bag with the charger – and drop it off at the front of school at the following times (along with your nearly new uniform):
Saturday 13 June 10.00am – 12.00pm
Wednesday 17 June 8.00am – 10.00am
Saturday 20 June 10.00am – 12.00pm
