Launch of Preview 2020

I am delighted to launch the new edition of Preview, Caterham School’s Politics magazine. This magnificent publication is entirely student led and the diversity of their articles is truly impressive: you can read their thoughts on topics such as the future of Hong Kong, the 2019 General Election, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict – and much more. There is even a terrific crossword, created by the wordsmiths Mr Parker, Mr Owen and Mrs Hunter (see page 54).  I would especially like to commend those involved in this issue who have done a brilliant job despite having to contend with the difficulties caused by the onset of Coronavirus. This issue also gives us a chance to thank Mr Tom Murphy (Deputy Head Academic) who has contributed so much to Politics at Caterham; Preview’s editor, Henry du Plessis, pays tribute to him in the introduction on page 2. The articles in the magazine showcase Caterham students at their very best: globally minded, forward thinking and empathetic towards others. I hope you will enjoy the issue which can be viewed here.
