Lego League Tournament Rising Stars
Ten First and Second Year LegoCats participated in the London-Lewisham Regional Tournament, as part of the international FIRST Lego League robotics competition. They had to build and program a robot to complete a variety of challenges, based on the theme of Cargo Connect using the Lego Robotics system. They also had to make an Innovation Presentation tackling a current issue within the global shipping infrastructure. Alex, Will and Ann delivered a fantastic presentation on the use of robots to aid in the efficiency and loss prevention of moving containers at ports. Pupils represented themselves and the school brilliantly and performed at the highest level. They received the ‘Rising Star’ Award, for the best new team.
