Les Petits Filous et la Chandeleur
This week our junior French linguists experienced “La chandeleur à la française” (French pancake day). They were back in the now familiar very chic Café that is the Leathem room. Our Petits Filous were delighted to meet up again with their favourite waitresses Ayla G.M and Breya M.S, our fantastic Fifth Year French pupils. Both made sure that the orders were placed in French and continued to be superb role models guiding and helping our Petits Filous who were keen to impress them with their pronunciation when ordering a drink and choosing their favourite filling. “Une crêpe au chocolat s’il vous plait” came top of the list!
