Mission Accomplished!
A phenomenal 1881 lateral flow tests have now been completed meaning we are ready to welcome back pupils into classrooms and physical lessons first thing on Monday morning! Huge thanks to the support staff team who have enabled this and the co-operation and support of parents and pupils. We will, of course, continue to support pupils who are unable to return to physical school or need to isolate with ongoing virtual schooling, but Monday is a huge step forward in reuniting our community on campus.
Tests #2 and #3 will be undertaken on site in year groups between Monday 8 and Monday 15 March.
We are aware that the NHS alert does not always arrive but please rest assured that the school will contact parents should there be a positive test result.
From 15 March, pupils will be provided with Test at Home kits – more information on this to follow.
The DfE also announced this week that testing is now available for parents and adults in households with children at school.
