Positive Effect of Lerang’wa Lunches
The new school year began on 17 January at our partner school in Lerang’wa, Tanzania. Monies raised by the Charity Committee and our school community have funded the lunches provided at the school. The lunches have had a dramatically positive effect on attendance and concentration levels at the school. Lerang’wa is a thriving and growing community and the school has 900 pupils on their roll this year, almost doubling in size over the last four years. The school serves the community – no one is turned away.
