Preview 2021
It is a great pleasure to introduce the 2021 issue of Preview, Caterham School’s Politics magazine. Preview is a student led endeavour and what you will see here is a testament to the hard work and initiative of all those involved. This edition is the largest in the history of the magazine and the range of topics covered is truly impressive: our pupils share their perspectives on the 2020 exam u-turn, the furlough scheme and the horizon scandal, and they also look further afield to cover topics from the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg to recent events in Myanmar. For the first time ever, we have junior articles by pupils from the Second, Third and Fifth Years, showcasing their journalistic talents and political insight. We are also delighted to include a guest article from Mr Tom Murphy, former Deputy Head (Academic) and a true legend of the Politics Department at Caterham School. I hope you will enjoy and be inspired by this year’s magazine.
