Sixth Form Prefects Lead on Local and Global Awareness
Just before the half term break, during Sixth Form assemblies, a number of Upper Sixth Form prefects delivered passionate and energetic presentations on local and global issues that matter to them right now. Topics included homelessness, the impact of the COVID vaccination process on the economy, LGBT+ developments, gender equality, free school meals and the importance of integrity. The prefect team sent their peers away for half-term with lots of inspiring ideas regarding opportunities where there is potential for input, activism and change right now in society. Fuelling big ideas and innovations is an embedded part of our Sixth Form experience and it was fantastic to observe such impressive delivery from our Upper Sixth ambassadors.
