Sponsored Readers Chomp Through 97 Books
As part of our World Book Day celebrations this year our Third Year pupils took part in a sponsored read. They were asked to read as many books as they comfortably could in a six week period. Between them they read a total of 97 books and raised £368.00 in sponsorship. Special congratulations must go to Rafie (7 books), Lucy (10 books) and Megan who read a very impressive 13 books! The monies raised were given to the RAF Benevolent Fund, which is this year celebrating 100 years since the foundation of the RAF.
