U13A Lacrosse Team Crowned Surrey County Champions
The U13A team competed in the Surrey County Lacrosse Tournament on Tuesday 5 February. The girls fought through very difficult weather conditions to win their group with victories over Putney Bs, Dunottar, Guildford B’s and St Cat’s As. This sent the team into the Cup Semi-Finals against Putney High School As. A back and forth match eventually ended in Caterham’s favour, 3-1 sending Caterham to the Cup Final against St Cats A. The final match of the day was so exciting for the #laxcats and great team spirit was shown by all. A convincing 2-0 win with two back to back goals from Harriet sealed the County Cup Championship for Caterham.
This is the first ever County Championship for a Caterham team for a while and an unbelievable effort to finish undefeated on the day. Well done to all players as their effort and standard of play was simply amazing.
