Ceri Jones, Headmaster, said: “Seeing our young people succeed in their ambitious next steps towards bright futures with today’s superb results is a proud moment for everyone. I am delighted not only by the top destinations achieved by our pupils but also the variety of subjects and interests they wish to pursue. Our results reflect excellence across a broad range of academic disciplines – from engineering, maths and science to visual arts, social sciences and classics. Of course, top grades are only one measure of their success – this year group have shone brightly across every aspect of school life, from creative and performing arts to sport, to being fantastic role models for our younger pupils and, quite simply, good friends to each other. They personify our firm belief in a well-rounded, happy and ambitious school culture. I know they are leaving not just with great grades, but memories, friendships and a network who will support them in the years to come. As ever, it is sad to say farewell to such a wonderfully talented bunch of young people, but I am genuinely excited to see the impact they have on the world in the years ahead and am proud of the young adults they have grown into – they leave with a real energy and purpose and massive potential.
